# 7. Effort Values (EV)

**EVs are stats that you can train your Revomon.** 

Each Revomon is capable of having **a maximum of 510 EV points**. 

Each stat can get **a maximum of 252 EV points.** 

EV points are earned by defeating a certain Revomon. If you want to find out which Revomon gives what EV when you defeat them, go to [Revomon’s Dapp and go to your Revodex](https://app-v2.revomon.io/revodex) OR [you can check Team Carnage’s information centre](https://www.carnage.gg/information-center).

***PRO TIP:** In competitive Revomon, you want the numbers as high as possible. Maxing out the preferred stat would be the ideal scenario. E.G. 252 ATK, 252 SPE, 6 HP. Each Revomon Trainer would have different preferences and this is for you to discover which one works best.*
